Senior Technical Project Manager - Contract role
Our client is looking to hire an experienced Technical Project Manager who will be responsible to lead the data exchange replacement workstream within a programme. This will be a 12-month contract role and based in Wellington.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the replacement workstream from planning through to implementation.
- Manage the migration of agreed services to the new data exchange capability.
- Lead a small cross-functional project team.
- Manage project scope, schedule, risks, issues, dependencies, and governance.
- Work collaboratively with the business stakeholders and external technology vendors.
- Support operational readiness and transition of migrated services into ongoing operational support.
Skills and Experience
- Leading complex technology or digital delivery projects.
- Delivering system integration, platform replacement, or data migration initiatives.
- Managing projects involving business-critical operational services.
- Leading cross-functional technical delivery teams.
- Managing project governance, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder relationships.
- Working effectively with business, technical and vendor stakeholders.
