Are you a strategic, customer-focused ICT professional looking to shape enterprise digital services? We are seeking an experienced Service Design Architect to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, driving operational readiness, service operating models, and seamless business-as-usual (BAU) transitions across a large-scale, complex technology environment.
1) What You Will Do:- Develop Service Operating Models: Create enterprise ICT service strategies, service operating models, and transition roadmaps to support digital services throughout their lifecycle.
- Lead BAU Transitions: Establish Operational Readiness Assessments and Transition to Business-as-Usual approaches to ensure all new and enhanced services are supportable and sustainable.
- Provide Specialist Guidance: Deliver expert advice on enterprise ICT service architecture, operational design, and lifecycle governance to support strategic planning and investment decisions.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with Solution Architects, Project Managers, Service Owners, and operational teams to ensure services meet operational acceptance criteria before entering production.
- Build Service Artefacts: Develop and maintain service blueprints, operational support models, and governance frameworks that enable continuous service improvement.
- Extensive Experience: 5+ years of experience in enterprise ICT service architecture, service design, operating models, operational readiness, and BAU transitions in large, complex environments.
- Framework Knowledge: Proven expertise applying service management frameworks such as ITIL, TOGAF, COBIT, or equivalent (formal ITIL qualification highly regarded).
- Artefact & Blueprint Creation: Demonstrated ability to build practical service strategies, blueprints, transition roadmaps, and support models aligned with business needs.
- Sector Context: A strong understanding of public sector operations and the unique challenges of service delivery within complex public services (healthcare context desirable).
- Stakeholder & Communication Skills: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to translate complex technology concepts into business terms and influence outcomes.
