The Application Solution Architect is a pivotal role dedicated to the development and articulation of comprehensive end-to-end solutions. You will engage extensively with Solution Architects, Operations, and business stakeholders to define and maintain a suite of architectural artefacts, including Logical and Physical Solution Designs, Patterns, Standards, and Detailed Designs.

- oping all necessary Conceptual, Solution, and Detailed designs for application and integration components.
- Architectural Governance: Act as an influential, voting member of the Architecture Working Group, providing expert review and constructive feedback on designs developed by peers across all domains (Cloud, Integration, Data/Analytics & AI, Infrastructure, etc.).
- Platform Oversight: Provide expert architectural guidance and oversight specifically for Salesforce and related projects/initiatives.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate effectively with diverse business and technical stakeholders, assisting with project planning documents (e.g., Concept Briefs) and ensuring architectural decisions support their strategic initiatives.
Essential Skills and Experience
- Solution Architecture Expertise: Minimum five (5) years of experience in developing enterprise application solutions, with proven capability in delivering high-level to low-level designs.
- ServiceNow & ITSM Mastery: Deep, working knowledge of core ITSM processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Request, CMDB) and the ServiceNow platform. Must understand the differences and migration paths between ITSM and SLC variants and possess skills in process standardisation.
- Admissions/RAS Domain Knowledge: Demonstrated ability to assess heavily customised admissions systems (ideally ServiceNow SLC) and successfully architect a scalable, compliant, and user-centric replacement solution.
- Technical Architecture Pillars: Strong skills across:
- Integration: Defining robust Integration Architecture, including canonical APIs/events and sequencing for reliable cutover.
- Data: Expertise in Data Architecture, defining data models, lineage, and stewardship to ensure data quality and integrity for reporting.
- Identity: Proven ability to align solutions with established IAM patterns and guardrails for secure, role-based access.
5. Leadership & Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively engage and influence both senior leadership and technical/non-technical teams.
