- Provides support for a varied range of (commercial) legal activities, including the preparation of legal and compliance documents and correspondence
- Performs negotiations, assists with closing transactions, and provides technical advice on standard topics
- Completes governmental and regulatory paperwork, performs legal research and analysis, and participates in internal and external meetings as necessary
- Drafts, reviews and adjusts standard (commercial) contracts and agreements, ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory and organization policies
- Supports litigation activities, performing research and review of legal data and preparing materials for outside counsel
- Drafts policies and procedures to ensure compliance with laws and regulations, rules and internal standards. Monitors compliance with regulatory requirements, investigating potential issues with limited complexity and flagging complex potential issues for further review
- Conducts legal research to gather relevant case law, statutes, regulations and legal precedents to support senior colleagues
