· Assist Store In-Charge in maintaining records of incoming and outgoing materials.
· Receive, verify, and physically check materials against delivery challans and Purchase orders.
· Issue materials, spares, consumables, and tools to engineers, fitters, electricians, and operators as per authorization.
· Maintain stock registers, bin cards, and computerized inventory records.
· Ensure proper labeling, stacking, and safe storage of materials in designated locations.
· Monitor minimum stock levels and inform Store In-Charge for replenishment.
· Assist in monthly/quarterly stock verification and reconciliation.
· Handle basic documentation such as gate pass, issue slips, and return notes.
· Support in safe handling and storage of lubricants, chemicals, and electrical/mechanical spares.
· Keep store area clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
· Report any shortages, damages, or discrepancies to the Store In-Charge immediately.
· Assist during audits and inspections related to store and material management.
· Inventory Handling: Basic knowledge of stock keeping and issue procedures.
· Record Keeping: Ability to maintain registers, bin cards, and basic computer entries.
· Attention to Detail: Accuracy in material verification and issue.
· Safety Awareness: Knowledge of safe handling and storage of spares, tools, and consumables.
