- Manage and maintain the Private Cloud infrastructure, including servers, storage, load balancers, and sub-systems.
- Perform capacity planning, regular maintenance, and patch management to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot system incidents and provide high-level user support for complex technical issues.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including system administrative procedures and disaster recovery plans.
- Participate in system-related projects, technical research, and proof-of-concept (PoC) work for new technologies.
- Provide Public Cloud environment support, including monitoring, deployment, and troubleshooting.
skills & experiences required.
- Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in hardware, operating systems, and software (specifically VMware, Cisco, Dell, NetApp, PureStorage, Microsoft, and RedHat).
- Strong knowledge of VMware vSphere, vCenter, and NSX-T.
- Proven experience with storage solutions such as NetApp and PureStorage.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Windows Server, Linux, and SQL Server.
- VMware Certified Professional (VCP) on Data Centre Virtualisation is required.
- Additional certifications (e.g., VCP on Cloud Management, Network Virtualisation, or AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are highly advantageous.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Fluency in English and Cantonese is preferred for internal communication.
