About the Client & Role Randstad is currently partnering with a prominent government sector organization to recruit an experienced Talent Acquisition Partner on a temporary assignment to support the team through an upcoming busy period and planned leave.
In this temporary contract role, you will step in as a trusted advisor and coach to hiring managers across a diverse corporate services portfolio, ensuring business continuity and high-quality hiring outcomes. Working collaboratively as part of the broader talent team, you will drive end-to-end recruitment, execute proactive sourcing strategies, operationalise diversity action plans, and help manage business-critical talent pipelines.
Key Responsibilities
... - Partner directly with department leaders and hiring managers to deliver end-to-end talent acquisition across assigned portfolios
- Act as an expert advisor and coach to line managers, supporting capability building in talent selection and assessment.
- Proactively source talent internally and externally using market data, talent pipelines, and targeted attraction activities.
- Operationalise diversity and inclusion objectives through proactive candidate engagement, talent pooling, and inclusive hiring practices.
- Conduct hiring strategy meetings, review candidates, conduct interviews/assessments, and facilitate onboarding.
- Ensure all recruitment processes meet organizational governance, compliance, and quality benchmarks.
- Analyze talent market trends and data to deliver continuous improvement and innovative recruitment solutions.
What You Bring
- Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in Business, Human Resources Management, or a related discipline.
- Experience: Proven track record in Talent Acquisition within complex, fast-paced environments (government or public sector experience is highly regarded).
- Stakeholder Management: Exceptional interpersonal and influencing skills with a proven ability to coach leaders and build trust.
- Diversity Focus: Experience supporting and implementing diversity hiring strategies and proactive talent pooling.
- Sourcing Capability: Deep knowledge of modern sourcing strategies, talent acquisition technology, and candidate assessment techniques.
