Key Responsibilities
- Component Assembly: Assemble internal and external engine components (pistons, crankshafts, cylinder heads, valves, and timing systems) per technical specifications.
- Torque & Measurement: Use precision tools (torque wrenches, micrometers, dial indicators) to perform strict clearance checks and torque specs.
- Testing & Inspection: Conduct sub-assembly inspections, leak tests, and static checks to identify potential defects prior to final testing.
- Process Discipline: Adhere to SOPs, 5S workplace management, and safety protocols on the assembly line.
- Troubleshooting: Identify misaligned parts or assembly errors and coordinate with quality control to apply immediate corrective actions.
Key Requirements
- Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with mechanical assembly, hand/pneumatic tools, and engine timing alignment.
- Drawing Literacy: Ability to read basic mechanical engineering drawings and bill of materials (BOM).
- Attention to Detail: Precision-driven approach to ensure tight tolerances and zero assembly defects.
