We are recruiting a Junior / Mid Underwriter for a company in the insurance sector, as part of a growing team focused on building a strong and sustainable portfolio.

This role combines analytical thinking with decision-making and gives you exposure to both traditional underwriting and modern tools.

The role follows a hybrid working model, with 2 days per week in the office and the rest remote, while the first month is fully onsite for onboarding.

What you’ll do

* Assess insurance applications and evaluate risk (medical, financial, technical)
* Decide on policy terms, pricing, and risk acceptance
* Work with brokers, clients, and internal teams on quotes and risk assessments
* Contribute to product development and underwriting guidelines
* Monitor portfolio performance and risk exposure
* Improve processes through automation and digital tools

What we’re looking for

* Experience in underwriting or insurance (depending on seniority)
* Strong analytical and decision-making skills
* Understanding of risk assessment principles
