With a salary of £18,000-£25,000(DOE) plus sleepover allowances, based on a 40 hour working week. The service supports young people ages 8-18 years old with emotional and social difficulties to continue their education. Your skills as a prison officer are easily transferable into the role of a child support worker. You will find similar themes of boundaries, respect, rehabilitation are all present.
