Responsibilities
• Receiving and shipping all materials and products in an accurate and timely manner within a manufacturing & logistics setting.
• Sorting material, stocking shelves, picking orders, and ensuring all items are packaged and labeled correctly.
• Picking and preparing sales orders for outbound shipment, ensuring 100% accuracy for the Shipper / Receiver department.
• Utilizing and managing bin locations effectively to maintain an organized warehouse flow.
• Operating a Sit-Down Counterbalance (SDCB) forklift to unload heavy products (up to 1000 lbs) and stage skids.
• Managing records and files within SAP or other ERP systems to track inventory movement.
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industrial service offerings to better serve MRO and OEM customers.
• Collaborating with the internal team to put products away and maintain a clean, safe workspace.
• Engaging in continuous skill training and development to stay relevant in the manufacturing & logistics industry.
Qualifications
• Prior experience as a Shipper / Receiver or Warehouse Representative, preferably in industrial distribution.
• High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education is an asset.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently and handle larger products with appropriate equipment.
• Experience or willingness to be trained on a Sit-Down Counterbalance (SDCB) forklift.
• Familiarity with manufacturing & logistics safety protocols and best practices.
• Proven track record of reliability and punctuality in a fast-paced environment.
• Availability to work full-time hours in Surrey, BC.
