We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Zonal Sales Manager to drive sales growth, market expansion, and enhance brand presence for our Cotton and Field Crops portfolio across the assigned zone. This is a critical leadership role, responsible for guiding regional sales teams, nurturing distributor relationships, and achieving ambitious revenue and market share targets.
Responsibilities:- Achieve zonal sales targets for Cotton and Field Crops.
- Develop and execute annual and seasonal sales plans.
- Identify new markets, products, and growth opportunities within the zone.
- Monitor competitor activities and recommend strategic corrective actions.
- Appoint, manage, and develop distributors and dealers across the assigned zone.
- Ensure effective stock planning and timely secondary sales to meet market demand.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate Area Sales Managers and Field Sales teams to high performance.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and insightful field visits to support and guide the sales force.
- Drive impactful product promotions, farmer meetings, demonstrations, and field days to build brand loyalty and product adoption.
- Ensure accurate sales forecasting, timely MIS reporting, and strict adherence to company policies and compliance standards.
- 10–15 years of experience in sales, specifically within the seed or agriculture industry.
- A minimum of 3–5 years in a zonal or senior managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of the Cotton and Field Crops market.
- Proven ability in strategic sales planning and execution.
- Demonstrated success in distributor and channel management.
- Excellent team leadership and people management skills.
- Proficiency in market analysis and negotiation.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned zone.
- Strong understanding of regional crop practices is essential.
