Randstad is delighted to be included as the only HR services provider in the Professionals Services category within the Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI) World Index for the 7th year running. This year, Randstad was assessed as best in class for the Materiality criterion, acknowledging our ongoing efforts to understand and measure our levers of long-term value creation and maintain transparency with all stakeholders.

Launched in 1999, the DJSI recognizes the leading companies in each industry sector for responsible economic, environmental, and social performance.

Randstad’s continued inclusion in this Index reflects our commitment to putting purpose at the heart of all we do. Our founder, Frits Goldschmeding created Randstad with five core values at its heart - to know, to serve, to trust, striving for perfection and simultaneous promotions of all interests. This foundation continues to be at the core of our business today.

Doing our part to realize a sustainable future, we have committed ourselves to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, contributing to four goals in particular: decent work and economic growth, reduced inequalities, gender equality, and quality education. Randstad also believes in an environmentally sustainable future of work so has committed to the SDG on climate action by joining the Science Based Targets initiative Business Ambition for 1.5ºC pledge, agreeing to set science-based targets with the ambition of Net Zero by 2050.

We congratulate Randstad for being included in the Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI). A DJSI distinction is a reflection of being a sustainability leader in your industry. The record number of companies participating in the 2021 S&P Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment is testament to the growing movement for ESG disclosure and transparency.
