Your Role

As part of the Finance Department, you will be a key player in managing the accounts payable cycle, ensuring the integrity of financial data and strict adherence to local compliance.
Your core responsibilities will include:

• Invoice Management: Receiving, reviewing, and registering invoices into the financial system with high accuracy.
• Data Integrity: Managing digital archives and ensuring all documentation is "audit-ready" for seamless transitions to the payment team.
• Discrepancy Resolution: Proactively flagging and investigating unusual pricing or questionable items to ensure fair and accurate settlements.
• Vendor Relations: Acting as a professional point of contact for vendor inquiries, building trust through timely and accurate correspondence.
• Cross-Functional Liaison: Coordinating between local offices and the centralized payment team to ensure seamless global workflows.

Who We Are Looking For:

• Experience: 0–2 years of experience in Accounts Payable or General Accounting.
• Education: A degree or diploma in Finance, Accounting, or Economics is preferred.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong command of the Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (e.g., VLOOKUPs, pivot tables).
• Language Skills: Proficiency in both Italian and English (written and verbal) is essential for coordinating with international stakeholders.
• Soft Skills: A high level of empathy and patience when dealing with vendors, combined with a proactive, optimistic, and open-minded approach to problem-solving.

 What’s On Offer:

•  Location: Milan, Italy
• Contract: Fixed-term, renewable – via Randstad Italia SpA
• Salary: Approx. €26.000 to €30,000 gross/year (commensurate with experience)
