About the Role
We are seeking a driven Assistant Manager, Corporate Communications and Branding to execute comprehensive corporate branding, P.R., and communication strategies. This role is responsible for safeguarding brand identity, managing internal and external messaging, overseeing media relations, developing multi-channel content, and championing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives to strengthen market positioning.
Key Responsibilities
- Safeguard and maintain brand identity, voice, and visual guidelines across all marketing collateral, events, digital platforms, and corporate touchpoints.
- Plan and execute integrated communication strategies and integrated campaigns for fund launches, investor events, and strategic business initiatives.
- Write, edit, and curate high-quality content across brochures, website copy, social media assets, client communications, press releases, and executive scripts.
- Handle media relations, coordinate interview opportunities, distribute press statements, and track media performance and impact.
- Manage content updates across digital channels and social platforms, monitoring analytics to optimize engagement and messaging.
- Plan and execute branding for corporate events, sponsorships, and CSR programs aligned with company values and ESG objectives.
- Develop crisis communication materials and ensure all public messaging adheres to internal policies and regulatory standards (SC, FIMM, BNM).
- Track communication performance, budget utilization, campaign ROI, and prepare regular reports for senior leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or a related discipline.
- 5–7 years of relevant experience in brand communications, corporate P.R., or marketing communications, ideally within financial services or asset management.
- Strong understanding of investment products and regulatory guidelines (SC, FIMM, and BNM).
- Exceptional bilingual writing, storytelling, and editing capabilities in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Proven hands-on experience in media engagement, digital content tools (CMS, social media suites, Canva/Adobe Creative Suite), and campaign execution.
- Excellent project management, analytical reporting, and multi-stakeholder collaboration skills.
