Reporting to the Global Head of Branding & Sourcing Legal, you will:• Lead the drafting, review, negotiation, and execution of a broad range of commercial agreements,including:o Professional services agreementso Consulting agreementso Technology and SaaS agreementso Data licensing arrangementso Enterprise procurement and vendor contracts• Serve as a trusted legal advisor to business and procurement stakeholders, balancing legal risk withpractical and commercially sound solutions.• Provide strategic guidance on contractual terms, legal developments, regulatory requirements, andcorporate policies to support business objectives while ensuring compliance.• Partner with subject matter experts across privacy, cybersecurity, intellectual property, insurance, andregulatory legal teams to address complex contractual matters.• Drive continuous improvement of contract templates, playbooks, and contracting processes to enhanceefficiency and scalability.• Manage and coordinate external counsel and other professional advisors as required.

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree and Law degree (or equivalent)
• Qualification to practice law in Japan
• Minimum 7 years of experience drafting and negotiating sophisticated
commercial contracts gained through:
o A leading Japanese or international law firm, and/or
o An in-house legal department
• Business-level Japanese and English language proficiency
• Exceptional contract drafting, negotiation, communication, and
stakeholder management skills
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities while
working independently in a dynamic environment
• A practical, solutions-oriented mindset with strong business judgment
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience supporting the financial services, insurance, banking, or
broader regulated industries
• Experience advising multinational organizations on complex vendor,
technology, or procurement-related transactions
