Responsibilities
Reconciliation & Funding: Perform daily reconciliation of Global Bulk Payment and Wholesale Banknote Nostro accounts, including Visa integrated virtual accounts.
Investigation & Resolution: Conduct global outreach to investigate account debits/credits and identify the root cause of process failures.
Financial Reporting: Prepare GL entries, SWIFT messages, and daily/monthly funding analysis reports while ensuring compliance with GRG policies.
Process Excellence: Build new procedures, develop desktop job aids, and perform complex non-routine analytics to drive continuous improvement.
Project Support: Participate in requirement discussions, testing execution, and deployment activities for new operational initiatives.
Qualifications
Industry Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in a financial institution’s operations environment.
Core Skills: Strong accounting foundation with a deep understanding of Canadian clearing systems and rules.
Technical Proficiency: Expert-level keyboarding and proficiency in MS Office (Excel/Word); knowledge of Visio is a significant asset.
Education: Post-secondary degree or equivalent professional experience.
Operational Readiness: Proven ability to meet strict SLAs, manage competing priorities, and maintain exceptional attendance/punctuality for early-morning shifts.
