Seeking foreign-licensed attorney, with fluent English and Business-level Japanese skills, and approximately 2-6 years previous legal experience to providing support to and collaborating with partners and staff. The team is composed of a team of in-house lawyers, including both Japanese and foreign-qualified attorneys. The position: Provide advice (in Japanese and English) to partners and staff regarding legal risks and various risks in general regarding aspects of business transactionsDraft and review various policies and proceduresReview, draft, and negotiate consulting contracts, NDAs, subcontracting agreements, and alliance contracts Coordinate with various stakeholders with respect to seal and execution procedures following completion of contract negotiationsCoordinate with risk management groups with respect to risk management issues and incidents Coordinate with the Global Office of the General Counsel as well as other General Counsel of other territories Requirements: Licensed foreign attorneyMinimum 2 years' experience in private practice or combination of private practice and inhouse experienceStrong legal, analytical, and negotiation skills Fluence in English (speaking and writing) Business level Japanese Remote work is the standard, with office attendance generally required about once a week.
