Key Responsibilities
Strategic Clinical Leadership: Direct the nursing and care workforce, ensuring alignment with organizational policies and national legislative frameworks.
Governance & Compliance: Lead clinical governance reform, conduct gap analyses, and ensure 100% compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards.
Quality Improvement: Oversee the Serious Incident Response Scheme (SIRS), clinical auditing, and risk mitigation strategies (falls prevention, medication safety).
People & Culture: Mentor and develop a multidisciplinary team, promoting accountability, professional growth, and high performance.
Stakeholder Management: Act as the clinical point of contact for families, medical professionals, and the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring a blend of clinical expertise and sophisticated leadership skills.
Requirements:
Experience: Minimum of 3+ years in a senior clinical leadership role
Qualifications: Current AHPRA Registered Nurse division 1 registration.
Passion: A genuine commitment to advocating for residents and supporting frontline staff.
Technical Savvy: Proficiency in aged care software and a strong understanding of the AN-ACC funding model.
Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to lead difficult conversations with empathy and clarity.
