To help developing and implementing the company's base oil and additive strategy for all operations and supply chain activities globally. To manage and coordinate supply and logistics activities across the Region, ensuring supply continuity and On Time In Full (OTIF) delivery performance to customers is maintained in a safe and cost efficient way.
To work closely with internal departments and functional teams to ensure supply chain and operational capabilities continue to meet the needs of customers and support the achievement of the Company’s growth ambition.
Principle Accountabilities
• Participate in group additive tender and support the evaluation process.
• Assist in providing quantitative analysis on external market. Compiling reports on base oil
costs, ICIS prices and crude oil prices.
• Prepare base oil inventory reports on various locations for stock planning and inventory prediction and responsible for replenishment proposal.
• Prepare live additive consumption reports globally for management on instant contract fulfillment status.
• Oversee additive inventory and consumptions for all blenders and follow up with additives suppliers for any supply issues.

• Compiling supplier contract performance report, follow up supplier rebate, etc.
• Consolidate the raw materials demand forecast from regions and internal stakeholders and send to suppliers.
• Hold demand forecast meetings with regions and make proposal on raw materials forecast
Work closely with costing team on timely updating transactions for cost projection and ensure the formulation cost is optimised.
• Update additive pricing database, cost reduction tracker, and saving tracker to headquarter.
• Work closely with technical team on product development and formulation optimization.
• Assist in any development and execution of ad-hoc assignments or projects related to raw materials. E.g. cost optimisation, new product/formulation development.
• Ensure the compliance of internal audit, ISO audit and GOM Delegation of Authority requirement.
• Back up other team members when necessary.
Experience and Qualifications Required
● Degree holder in Supply Chain, Business, Finance Economics or related discipline.
● At least 8 years working experience in analytical roles, preferably with a multinational company.
● Highly developed analytical capability with good problem solving and investigative skills. Ability to think logically and apply critical thinking skills. Knowledgeable about statistical techniques, with experience in using them. Excellent data mining and extrapolation skills.
● Strong aptitude for mathematical analysis and statistical modelling. Proficiency in cost analysis, business forecasting and supply chain planning. Able to deal with large quantities of data, while maintaining attention to detail, and producing thorough and accurate work.
● Experience identifying and developing cost and process improvement initiatives.
● Experience in developing management performance reports and in managing business planning processes.
● IT Competencies: highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint, experience with MS Access databases & PowerBI.
● Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work as a team member in a fast-paced environment, within a global organisation. Can work very effectively with minimal management direction. Can reliably multi-task.
● Strong and effective verbal and written communication skills.
● Excellent command of English, other language skills an advantage.
