As a Principal Compensation & Benefits Manager, you will design, administer, and enhance employee compensation, benefits, and wellness programs. You will play a key role in ensuring competitiveness and compliance across Japan and the APAC region, while aligning programs with overall business strategy. You will also be actively involved in leveraging AI and other emerging technologies to optimize business operations.Key Responsibilities•Develop and administer employee benefits, wellness, and compensation programs.•Manage job evaluation, wage and salary administration programs, and all incentive plans.•Stay current on trends and developments in employee benefits and recommend improvements to benefit plans.•Prepare and deliver employee communications and training programs as needed.Specialist Career StreamThis role is typically an individual contributor within a professional discipline or specialty. You will deliver and/or manage assigned projects and collaborate with stakeholders to achieve desired results. You may act as a mentor to colleagues or direct the work of junior professionals. Most of your time will be spent managing projects from design to implementation, applying specialized knowledge and skills typically acquired through advanced education.Differentiating Factors•Autonomy: Recognized expert managing large projects or processes. Exercises significant latitude in determining deliverables with limited oversight. Provides coaching and delegates work to lower-level specialists.•Organizational Impact: Contributes to shaping new products, processes, standards, or operational plans with significant impact on results. May manage large projects spanning multiple teams.•Innovation and Complexity: Handles moderately complex and undefined problems requiring detailed analysis. Develops solutions and independently implements process or system improvements.•Communication and Influence: Serves as a primary contact for specific projects, communicating with internal and external stakeholders at various levels. May negotiate agreements and influence decision-making.•Leadership and Talent Management: Provides guidance, coaching, and training to team members. Manages moderately complex projects, delegating and reviewing work, sometimes acting as a team leader.

•Mastery of compensation and benefits or related specialty, with comprehensive knowledge of industry practices.
•Strong project management skills.
•Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
