- Lead the overall enterprise risk management framework, including the identification, assessment, monitoring and mitigation of key risks across the organisation.
- Develop and execute the organisation’s risk strategy, policies and governance framework.
- Provide independent oversight across key risk disciplines, including operational, market, liquidity, credit and strategic risk, where applicable.
- Oversee stress testing, scenario analysis and capital/risk planning to support business resilience and strategic decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, internal policies and industry best practices.
- Present risk reports, emerging risk trends and recommendations to Executive Management, Board Committees and other governance forums.
- Partner with business leaders to balance commercial objectives with prudent risk management practices.
- Foster a strong risk-aware culture across the organisation through guidance, training and stakeholder engagement.
- Lead, mentor and develop the Risk Management team while driving continuous improvement across the function.
- Act as the key liaison with regulators, external auditors and relevant stakeholders on risk-related matters.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Risk Management or a related discipline.
- Professional qualifications such as FRM, PRM, CFA, CA, CPA or equivalent will be an added advantage.
- Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in Risk Management, with significant leadership experience overseeing enterprise-wide risk functions.
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple risk disciplines, including operational risk, market risk, liquidity risk, enterprise risk, stress testing and governance.
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, corporate governance and risk management best practices.
- Proven ability to engage effectively with senior management, Board members and external stakeholders.
- Strong strategic thinking, leadership, stakeholder management and decision-making capabilities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Experience leading organisational transformation and strengthening enterprise risk capabilities.
- Track record of building high-performing teams and embedding a strong risk culture.
- Ability to influence stakeholders across all levels of the organisation while maintaining an independent risk perspective.
- Commercially minded with the ability to balance business growth and effective risk management.
