The RoleReporting to the Residential Aged Care Manager, you will be responsible for the clinical performance of the home. You will provide high-level clinical leadership, ensuring holistic care delivery while maintaining strict compliance with accreditation standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Governance: Oversee clinical audits, indicator results, and continuous improvement activities to drive care quality.
Leadership: Provide supervision, education, and professional development to a team of Registered and Enrolled Nurses.
Care Planning: Supervise the assessment, planning, and evaluation of care for every resident.
Operations: Manage clinical stock, medication management, and infection control in line with best practices.
Compliance: Ensure accurate funding optimisation documentation and maintain legislative requirements.
Essential Requirements:
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
Minimum of 3 years’ nursing management experience (ward level or higher).
Proven experience within the aged care sector.
Comprehensive knowledge of accreditation standards and funding optimisation.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams.
Proficiency in electronic care planning systems and MS Office.
