Job Description
A premier multispecialty tertiary care hospital in Bhubaneswar is inviting applications from qualified and safety-focused Anaesthesiologists to join our expanding clinical team across multiple cadre levels (SR / JC / AC / Consultant).
Key Responsibilities
- Perform pre-anaesthetic check-ups (PAC), risk stratification, and patient optimization.
- Administer general, regional (spinal, epidural, ultrasound-guided nerve blocks), and monitored anaesthesia care for elective and emergency surgical cases.
- Maintain intraoperative hemodynamic stability, airway management, and fluid balance.
- Oversee patient recovery in the PACU and handle acute post-operative pain management.
- Respond to hospital-wide emergency calls, Code Blues, and trauma resuscitations.
- Comply strictly with clinical guidelines, infection control protocols, and NABH standards.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Education: MD in Anaesthesiology / DNB in Anaesthesiology from a recognized institute.
- Valid medical registration with the State Medical Council / National Medical Commission (NMC).
- Hands-on expertise in advanced airway management and ultrasound-guided regional techniques.
- Strong team player with sound clinical decision-making skills in high-acuity surgical cases.
