Your New Position:
As a Specialist within a high-performing cross-functional team, you will translate intricate insurance concepts into simple, plain English. You will be the bridge between technical requirements and customer understanding, working across various digital and traditional channels.... from apps and websites to service letters and SMS.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft & Refine: Create concise, engaging content and edit existing material to ensure it meets high standards of clarity and brand tone.
- Collaborative Design: Work side-by-side with UX/UI designers, SEO analysts, and behavioural scientists to optimise the end-to-end customer journey.
- Stakeholder Navigation: Manage the end-to-end approval process, collaborating with legal and compliance teams to ensure all content is both customer-friendly and regulatory-compliant.
- Data-Driven Iteration: Use analytics and user testing to inform content decisions and advocate for content-led design across the organization.
- Practice Growth: Participate in peer reviews and capability-building sessions to help evolve a fast-growing content design practice.
Your Experience:
The ideal candidate is a seasoned communicator who thrives in agile environments and isn't afraid to "act and own it." You should bring:
- At least 5 years of professional writing experience, specifically within content design or customer communications.
- Experience working within a highly regulated or scrutinised industry (this is ESSENTIAL)
- A strong grasp of Jira and Agile methodologies.
- The ability to prioritise work efficiently and explain the "why" behind your copy choices to diverse stakeholders.
- A commitment to accessibility best practices and a mindset that celebrates diversity in all its forms.
- A "ready for anything" attitude and the ability to deliver high-quality work even under time pressure.
