Key Responsibilities:

In this position, you will operate without direct reports but hold immense technical leadership as you:

• Lead the conceptual and logical data modeling for the MSW information model and associated schemas.
• Drive cross-agency engagement to align data elements to international standards (including the IMO Compendium), documenting crosswalks, controlled vocabularies, and transformation business rules.
• Undertake comprehensive data stocktakes of existing agency data sources, documenting lineage, metadata, data dictionaries, and ownership paths.
• Design structured data exchange formats (such as XML) and advise on downstream integration patterns (including event-driven architectures).
• Build reusable data architectures, establish data quality frameworks, and create realistic project delivery schedules.
