We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced DCS Operator to join our team on a contract basis in Bengaluru, Karnataka. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in DCS operation and control room environments, with a proven track record of effectively managing complex systems.
Responsibilities:- Operate and monitor Distributed Control Systems (DCS) to ensure efficient and safe plant operations.
- Perform routine checks and adjustments to process parameters according to established procedures.
- Respond promptly to alarms and deviations, taking corrective actions to maintain process stability.
- Collaborate with engineers and other operational staff to troubleshoot issues and optimize performance.
- Maintain accurate logs and records of operational activities and system status.
- Participate in shift handovers, ensuring clear communication of critical information.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the control room environment.
- Diploma in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum of 5 years and a maximum of 12 years of experience in DCS Operation.
- Proficiency in DCS operation, specifically within control room environments.
- Experience with Delta-V vision systems is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of process control principles and instrumentation.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and make sound decisions.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
