Key Responsibilities
3D Modeling: Create and modify complex parts and assemblies using CREO / SolidWorks / NX.
Drafting: Prepare detailed 2D manufacturing drawings with a strong focus on GD&T and technical standards.
Prototyping: Support the development of prototypes and conduct design validation tests.
Design Optimization: Apply DFM (Design for Manufacturing) and DFA (Design for Assembly) principles to reduce costs and improve quality.
BOM Management: Create and maintain the Bill of Materials (BOM) and technical documentation in the PDM/PLM system (e.g., Teamcenter).
Collaboration: Work closely with the manufacturing and toolroom teams to resolve production issues.
Required Skills
Proficiency in a 3D CAD tool (e.g., CREO is preferred).
Solid understanding of engineering materials and manufacturing processes (Casting, Sheet Metal, or Plastic).
Strong knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
Problem-solving mindset with high attention to detail.
