We are hiring Signaling Engineer at Mumbai Location.
Roll – Off Roll / Contractual
Experience – 3 to 5 years
Key Responsibilities & Job Functions
- Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform regular inspection, maintenance, and repair of signaling gear (points, track circuits, signals) and telecommunication systems.
- System Operation: Monitor train movements via computer systems and operate controls in an Operating Control Center (OCC) or signal box.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety protocols, such as Automatic Train Protection (ATP), to prevent signal passed at danger (SPAD) incidents.
- Design & Engineering: Design, test, and commission new signaling, interlocking, and automatic train control systems.
- Incident Management: Respond to service disruptions, troubleshoot equipment failures, and report on incidents to ensure, quick restoration of service.
- Communication: Coordinate with train drivers and technical staff to manage traffic flow and communicate operational changes.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Technical Knowledge: Understanding of railway signalling principles, interlocking, and modern train control systems (e.g., CBTC).
- Experience: Previous experience in railway engineering, electronics, or maintenance.
- Certification/Education: Usually requires a diploma or degree in Electrical/Electronics/Telecommunication engineering or a related field.
- Skills: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, ability to work in shifts, and, for field roles, a hands-on approach.
