Are you a strategic and creative event professional with a passion for delivering impactful experiences in the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors? We are seeking a dynamic Senior Event Manager to lead the planning, management, and execution of high-quality internal and external events that enhance our brand, foster our culture, and strengthen stakeholder engagement.
Responsibilities:- Develop and implement an annual events strategy aligned with business, brand, employee engagement, and communication objectives.
- Plan and execute a wide range of events including internal engagement programs, leadership events, conferences, product launches, medical meetings, CSR events, and external stakeholder engagements.
- Translate business requirements into creative event concepts, themes, and experiences.
- Prepare detailed event plans including objectives, timelines, budgets, risk assessments, and success metrics.
- Oversee end-to-end event execution, including logistics, venue management, travel, hospitality, stage management, audio-visuals, branding, and post-event follow-up.
- Ensure flawless on-ground execution with strong attention to detail, quality, and participant experience.
- Manage multiple events simultaneously while meeting timelines and budgets.
- Conduct post-event evaluations and prepare reports on outcomes, learnings, and ROI.
- Act as the central coordination point between internal teams such as HR, Marketing, Medical, Sales, Corporate Communications, Finance, Legal, and Compliance.
- Partner closely with leadership teams for high-visibility and strategic events.
- Liaise with global and regional teams, where applicable, to align event standards and best practices.
- Identify, onboard, and manage external vendors including event agencies, production partners, designers, travel partners, and hospitality providers.
- Negotiate contracts and commercials to ensure cost efficiency and quality delivery.
- Manage event budgets, track expenses, and ensure financial discipline and transparency.
- Ensure all events comply with internal policies, local regulatory requirements, industry codes, and ethical standards, especially in pharma-related events.
- Proactively identify risks and implement mitigation plans related to safety, compliance, and reputation.
- Lead, guide, and develop the events team, fostering accountability, creativity, and operational excellence.
- Build a collaborative culture with a strong service mindset and continuous improvement orientation.
- Manage workload planning, skill development, and performance feedback for the team.
- Comply with all Company procedures, rules, and codes of practice, observing confidentiality and security of all documents.
- Ensure the Company’s business interests are served and kept paramount, and maintain and enhance the good image of the Company.
- Graduate/Postgraduate in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, Communications, or related discipline.
- 8–12 years of relevant experience in corporate events, event marketing, preferably in pharmaceutical, healthcare, or regulated industries.
- Proven experience in managing large-scale, multi-stakeholder events end-to-end.
- Strong project management, vendor management, and budgeting skills.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage tight timelines, and handle multiple priorities.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and compliance orientation.
