Prepare monthly earnings forecasts and performance reports, actively monitoring actual vs. budget at the desk level to document and escalate key commercial drivers, variances, and risks
Act as the day-to-day finance partner for Trading desks, providing financial modelling, sensitivity analysis, and economic insights for new deals, origination opportunities, and overall portfolio performance
Bridge trading P&L (MTM) results to GAAP and segment reporting, resolving discrepancies with Accounting and Risk while ensuring adherence to SOX, corporate policies, and local regulatory controls
Partner with Risk, Credit, Contracts, Trade Support, and IT to support seamless end-to-end deal flows and ensure all financial impacts are accurately reflected in reporting systems
Deliver clear, well-structured financial presentations to Singapore leadership and global stakeholders, feeding accurate regional data and emerging trend insights into the central planning CoE and global FP&A teams
Identify and implement digital tools, business intelligence dashboards, and process optimizations to simplify recurring reporting, enhance data quality, and increase transparency
- Actively participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) for SAP upgrades, ETRM enhancements, and other system changes to validate financial data fields and reporting standards

skills and experience required
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business with 3–5+ years in FP&A, commercial/trading finance, or a related analytical role
- Strong financial analysis, modelling, and forecasting abilities. Proficient in Excel with the ability to manage large datasets
- High attention to detail, strong prioritization skills in a dynamic environment, and a track record of producing accurate outputs under tight deadlines
- Clear written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to explain financial results to non-finance stakeholders and collaborate effectively across teams
- CPA, CA, CFA, or equivalent (completed or in progress)
- Experience in commodity trading, energy, oil & gas, or renewable, alongside familiarity with MTM accounting, derivatives, and risk concepts
- Experience with SAP, trading/risk systems (e.g., RightAngle), and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau)
- Demonstrated success in designing automated dashboards, improving processes, and confidently presenting analysis during cross-functional leadership discussions
