about the job
- To manage and oversee treasury application services and deliveries ie not limited to project delivery, system maintenance and support.
- To be a liaison between Business and Project Stakeholders - Functional Consultant, Business Analyst, Project Manager etc to lead and drive requirement study, analysis and provide functional / technical specification.
- To be the advisory for functional / technical design & architecture review, development and testing.
- To liaise with vendors and 3rd parties (if any)
- To manage the overall department's - IT Budget and planning
about the manager/team
This is a manager role (more on functional, no programming capability is required) so less hands-on and more on management. You will work with different stakeholders, liasing with Project Manager, Business Process Owner, Key Business Users, Business Analyst, Functional, Technical Consultants and programmers within Treasury project implementation, enhancement & support role. You will also be supported by vendor in project implementation (if any) - NO travelling abroad is required
about requirements:
- Someone with at least 8 years of experience working on IT side.
- Someone with experience in implementing or support (L2/L3) any Treasury systems (etc : SAP TRM, Kyriba, FIS, ION Treasury, and others are welcome to apply) Client is using Murex Treasury System.
- In-depth understanding in treasury products business workflow and processes ie money market / forex / fixed income / derivative / structured products and pricing calculation for derivative and structured products or others.
- Someone with good understanding of all phases of an application development life cycle; i.e. System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) or AGILE methodology, project management, framework and documentation.
- This role is a functional role - those Project Manager, Delivery Manager, Solution Architect with previous handson experience on treasury etc Functional Consultant / Business Analyst is mostly sought after. No programming capability is required.

- up to RM 35,000 can be increased to experienced consultant who already earned more
