Key responsibilities include creating earnings materials, managing investor meetings, communicating company performance, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations to maintain a fair valuation. Key Job Responsibilities:
- Financial Communication: Prepare quarterly earnings releases, investor presentations, conference call scripts, and the Management discussion & Analysis (MD&A) section of annual reports. Should be AI savvy as well.
- Relationship Management: Act as the primary contact for institutional investors, buy/sell-side analysts, and retail investors to share company strategy.
- Market Intelligence: Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and analyst sentiment, providing actionable feedback to senior management.
- Strategic Advisory: Advise executive management on investor perception, market reaction to strategic decisions (M&A, capital raises), and potential activist investor threats.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all investor communications comply with regulations (e.g., SEC regulations). Required Skills and Qualifications:
Essential Qualification: Masters / PG / in Finance, cost accounting / investment related fields
- Financial Literacy: Strong ability to understand, analyze, and communicate financial statements, valuation models, and KPIs.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to distill complex financial information into a clear investment narrative.
- Experience: Usually requires a degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics, with experience in finance, investment banking, or equity research.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to build a strong investment case for the company
