We are hiring on behalf of our client for a Java Developer to join their growing team based in the Kuala Lumpur area. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build on their experience in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Location: KL Area
Working Arrangement: Hybrid (combination of onsite & remote)
Salary: Up to RM8,000/month (commensurate with experience)
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver features
Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems
Participate in code reviews and ensure best practices are followed
Requirements
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in Java development
Strong proficiency in Java, Spring/Spring Boot framework is a plus
Experience with RESTful APIs and web services
Familiarity with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar
Understanding of version control tools (e.g., Git)
Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Nice to Have
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Knowledge of microservices architecture
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines
