Our Deceased Estates & Maintenance team plays a critical role in this mission, ensuring that the financial affairs of late customers are handled with the highest level of care, integrity, and efficiency.
We are looking for a dedicated Associate to join our team. You will be responsible for navigating complex legislative requirements while delivering a seamless, empathetic experience for grieving families, executors, and legal representatives.
As an Associate, you will be the engine room for both account maintenance and estate settlement. Your day-to-day will involve high-stakes data management and sensitive stakeholder communication across various banking products.
Your key responsibilities include:
Estate Settlement: Providing professional, timely, and high-quality support to Estate representatives, solicitors, and next-of-kin.
Technical Execution: Processing deceased estates across retail banking products, including deposit accounts, term deposits, and personal or home loans, within strict regulatory timeframes.
Account Maintenance: Performing updates across various banking profiles, ensuring customer data is accurate and up-to-date across all platforms.
Risk & Compliance: Managing business risk by completing QA checks on estate processing and formal correspondence to ensure alignment with the Banking Code of Practice and internal policies.
Stakeholder Empathy: Handling all inquiries with empathy and respect, recognizing the sensitivity of the situation for our customers' loved ones.
We are looking for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a high-volume environment and understands the gravity of the work they perform.
Ideally, you will bring:
Compliance Expertise: A strong understanding of AML (Anti-Money Laundering) and KYC (Know Your Customer) procedures.
Banking Knowledge: Previous experience in retail banking operations or a demonstrable understanding of deceased accounts, wills, probate, and letters of administration.
Communication Skills: Experience dealing with external bodies such as Solicitors, State Trustees, and Government Agencies.
Operational Excellence: An eagle eye for detail and the ability to manage a high volume of complex tasks without sacrificing quality.
