We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Ophthalmologist to join our esteemed medical team in Pune, Maharashtra. This is a full-time position for an experienced professional looking to contribute to exceptional eye care services.
Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and diagnose a wide range of ophthalmic conditions.
- Perform ophthalmic surgeries, including but not limited to phacoemulsification and retinal procedures.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for patients.
- Prescribe appropriate medications and corrective lenses.
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative care to surgical patients.
- Educate patients and their families on eye health and disease prevention.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated patient care.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements and technologies in ophthalmology.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency and quality of the ophthalmology department.
- Medical degree (MS/MD) in Ophthalmology.
- Specialty certifications such as DNB Ophthalmology, DO are highly desirable.
- Minimum of 3 years and a maximum of 8 years of experience in ophthalmology.
- Proficiency in surgical procedures including Phacoemulsification and Retina surgery.
- Strong knowledge and practical application of Ophthalmology principles.
- Excellent diagnostic, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Licensed to practice medicine in India.
- Registered with the relevant medical council in Maharashtra.
