Are you a transformation leader who thrives on execution rather than just theory? We are partnering with a major statutory authority in Melbourne to find an energetic Program Manager – Business Transformation.
The organisation is launching an enterprise-wide productivity program, transitioning 97 strategic initiatives from the discovery phase into operational implementation. This is not an IT or ERP rollout. This is a true business operations, governance, and capability transformation.

Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Business Transformation Manager, you will drive delivery coordination and establish governance frameworks to maximise the program's success.
Drive Execution: Coordinate and align multiple workstreams across various business portfolios, focusing on progress over perfection and speed to delivery.
Governance & Stage Gating: Implement robust stage-gate delivery methods to transition initiatives smoothly toward implementation planning and sequencing.
Stakeholder Engagement: Partner closely with Senior Leaders to manage expectations, influence cross-functional teams, and maintain delivery momentum.
Benefit Realisation: Ensure systems, reporting analytics, and business cases are tightly tracked to deliver measurable operational effectiveness.
What We Are Looking For
We are seeking a delivery-focused professional with a blend of commercial acumen and large-scale organizational transformation experience.
Required Criteria:
Non-IT Business Transformation: Demonstrated success leading large-scale business improvement, enterprise productivity, or operational transformation programs (not IT infrastructure or ERP).
Delivery Coordination & Governance: Strong background in stage-gating delivery, milestone tracking, and governance reporting.
Stakeholder Management: Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability tinfluence Senior Managers and direct reports.
Thrives in Ambiguity: A high-energy mindset equipped to handle complex programs with multiple moving parts.
Availability: Immediate to short notice period (2 weeks or less).
Desirable Skills:
Agile delivery exposure and mindset.
Strong background in business case development and benefits realisation.
