Responsibilities
Operational Coordination: Support day-to-day activities across both wireless network deployment teams, including scheduling field activities and confirming site access logistics.
Task Management: Track and update project schedules, action logs, and task registers on a daily basis to ensure no milestones are missed.
Reporting & Documentation: Collect and consolidate weekly status updates from technical leads. Assist in preparing meeting minutes, status reports, and formal change requests.
Logistics & Liaison: Act as the point of contact for client site representatives to confirm access arrangements and provincial site requirements.
Resource Support: Manage timesheet collection for contract resources and ensure accurate submission through designated systems (e.g., ConnectWise).
Information Management: Maintain organized project files, communication logs, and centralized documentation repositories for the program.
Qualifications
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in project coordination or junior project management within an IT infrastructure context.
Environment: Proven experience working in enterprise-level IT project environments with structured methodologies.
Technical Skills: Proficiency with project tracking tools such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or similar platforms.
Communication: Strong written communication skills with a focus on professional documentation and reporting.
Soft Skills: Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines independently with minimal supervision.
Location: Must be based in Winnipeg, MB, with a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for occasional provincial site visits.
Preferred Qualifications
Exposure to network or telecommunications infrastructure projects.
Experience working within a government, health authority, or crown corporation environment.
CAPM certification or equivalent project management training is considered a strong asset.
