This is not a standard delivery role; we are looking for a strategic partner and integrator capable of navigating high-stakes technical and business environments across the University.

You will operate at the intersection of technology and operations, managing initiatives that cut across multiple faculties and professional service units. You must be comfortable managing shared accountability and competing priorities while driving alignment across diverse stakeholder groups.
Key responsibilities:

• Strategic delivery: Lead end-to-end project lifecycles, from initial problem definition and business case development through to benefits realization.
• Methodological leadership:Flexibly apply and tailor Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies to meet specific project risks and complexities.
• Stakeholder engagement:Act as a critical bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, translating complex concepts into clear, executive-level communications.
• Financial stewardship:Develop robust cost models (CAPEX/OPEX), manage multi-year funding projections, and navigate complex cross-functional cost allocations.
• Human-centered design:Champion HCD principles, ensuring solutions are co-designed with users and refined through iterative testing.

Required skills & experience:

• Proven experience: A track record of delivering large-scale, cross-functional projects in politically complex and fast-changing environments.
• Technical literacy:Sufficient technical depth to de-risk platforms, integrations, and data security components without being a specialist.
• Executive presence:Exceptional communication skills with the ability to present compellingly to University Executives and governance forums.
• Change mindset:Strong focus on how digital shifts impact people, roles, and ways of working to ensure successful adoption into business-as-usual.
• Higher education experience across a University landscape is essential
