- Single point of contact and act as conduit at all stages of development, production, quality/ warranty, and supply chain issues.
- To take up any operational issues or quality issues raised from UK factory for CBUs and from Thailand & Brazil factories for CKDs.
- To understand all quality issues faced during Trial production and pre-production stages of new models and have oversight of all issues during volume production.
- To oversee & manage the workload of quality technicians implanted.
- Monitor the effectiveness of countermeasure actions taken. Conduct production line quality audits and review WI, Process flow & Control plans and report non-conformity.
- Coordination of TML-BAL Quality interface meeting. Driving export warranty issues, raising SPDs to eCAR punching, fetching retail & wholesale figures data from sales team & Fortnightly eCAR status update in the tracker.
- Support to Central Warranty team for the settlement of monthly warranty claims.
- Ability to escalate operations related and quality issues with face-to-face meetings.
- To interact with production, engineering, and quality team for any operational requirement related to quality, production process, logistics etc.
- IRU punching for Brazil &Argentina location &settlement of replacement parts.
- Job may require unblocking of PC&A (Parts, Clothing & Accessories).
- Weekly holistic reports on quality and operations in prescribed format to be circulated to all stakeholders with non-conformances, actions, and closures.
- May need to visit suppliers for audits or for improvements of components and processes wherever needed and requested. This is not limited to smaller cc bikes components.
- To undertake and assist with projects or any other ad-hoc duties as required by reporting Manager.
