Senior Accountant – Tokyo (French Retail Fragrance Company)About the Company:Join a leading multinational fragrance company with a strong presence in Japan. We offer a stable, inclusive, and growth-oriented work environment.Role Summary:Take charge of daily accounting operations, ensure compliance with Japanese standards (J-GAAP), and contribute to process improvements. You’ll also mentor junior staff and play a key role in financial reporting and analysis.Key Responsibilities:Oversee accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and payment processes.Ensure compliance with J-GAAP and tax regulations.Handle month-end and year-end closings.Provide financial analysis and management reports.Collaborate with auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies.Mentor junior staff and enhance processes and systems.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/CMA preferred).5+ years of accounting experience in a multinational company in Japan.Strong knowledge of J-GAAP and tax laws.Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.Detail-oriented, with strong communication and time management skills.Important NotesThis role does not offer visa sponsorship.
