We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Intelligence Specialist to lead both the end-to-end data architecture and hands-on report development for enterprise reporting solutions. Responsibilities
Data Architecture & Blueprinting: Author comprehensive Solution Architecture Documents, Data Flow Diagrams, and Conceptual/Logical/Physical Data Models for enterprise analytics platforms.
Lakehouse & Semantic Model Design: Architect Databricks Lakehouse structures and design performant Power BI semantic models utilizing dimensional modeling and star schema principles.
Security & Governance Implementation: Design granular security frameworks, including Row-Level Security (RLS), role-based access models, data lineage documentation, and data governance controls.
CI/CD & Capacity Planning: Establish environment management strategies, continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, non-functional requirements, and capacity performance plans.
Hands-on Power BI Development: Build, test, and deploy interactive Power BI dashboards and reports, integrating Databricks data sources and writing complex DAX measures and Power Query transformations.
Performance Optimization & SQL Scripting: Write advanced SQL queries, optimize data warehouse performance, tune semantic model refresh cycles, and perform root-cause troubleshooting.
Requirements Gathering & Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with business teams to elicit analytics requirements, conduct deep-dive data investigations, and provide detailed technical documentation and knowledge transfer.
Qualifications
Data Architecture Seniority: Minimum 7+ years of dedicated data architecture experience, with expert knowledge of dimensional modeling, star schemas, and enterprise data warehousing (Strictly Required).
Power BI Development: Minimum 5+ years of hands-on Power BI development experience, with expert-level skills in DAX, Power Query, and semantic model optimization (Strictly Required).
Analytics Seniority: 7+ years of broader Business Intelligence and data analytics experience (Strictly Required).
Cloud & Lakehouse Platform Expertise: Proven hands-on experience with Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse, and SQL Server (Strictly Required).
Security & Governance Controls: Demonstrated experience designing and implementing Row-Level Security (RLS), data governance, and automated CI/CD pipeline architectures (Strictly Required).
Business Analysis & Data Investigation: Strong skills in gathering business requirements, performing deep-dive SQL analysis, and resolving data anomalies.
Nice-to-Have Assets:
