Budgeting, Forecasting & MIS: ∙ Lead the development of the annual budget in collaboration with department heads and senior management.∙ Provide financial forecasting to guide strategic decision-making and resource allocation.∙ Track financial performance against the budget, present MIS on month-on-month basis, advise management on variances, trends, and lead path on corrective actions.
Cash Flow & Working Capital Management: ∙ Effective treasury operations ensuring optimal use of working capital and compliance with policy∙ Work with business to ensure Inventories as per budgeted plan∙ Cash flow management to ensure sufficient liquidity for daily operations, capital expenditures, and financial obligations.∙ Coordinate with banks and financial institutions to manage financing options, including credit facilities and investments. Cost Management and Financial Analysis: ∙ Monitor and control Gross margins of Business∙ Conduct cost-benefit analysis and recommend strategies for improving operational efficiency and profitability.∙ Analyse variances between actual and expected performance and advise the management team on corrective actions. Business Partnering ∙ Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management for long-term strategic planning.∙ Support decision-making related to investments, expansion, and cost-reduction strategies.∙ Work closely with the CFO to develop financial strategies that align with the company’s overall goals.∙ Support technology-driven initiatives and digital transformation in finance. Team management & Stake Holder Management ∙ Coach and mentor the team members∙ Conduct regular team meetings to guide team members on departmental issues in order to build a high performing and motivated team∙ Continuous engagement with Internal and external stakeholders for collaborating on key strategic initiatives and activities such as Internal Audit, Business Vertical Finance, taxation, Bankers, Legal Counsels etc .
