About your new role
The position leads the development and implementation of the organisation's non-financial Standing Directions compliance framework establishing its underlying policies, procedures, controls, and supporting documentation alongside the internal control framework to clearly define accountabilities, compliance requirements, and assurance mechanisms. The role is also tasked with strengthening organisational resilience by developing the Business Continuity Plan and coordinating across teams to map risks, critical functions, dependencies, and recovery needs. Operationally, the position delivers end-to-end fleet management arrangements, including booking systems, maintenance schedules, record-keeping, and staff guidance, in partnership with regional and stakeholders.
What you will need to exceed
... - In-depth knowledge of public sector compliance standards, standing directions, and internal control frameworks to design, document, and embed robust policies, accountabilities, and assurance mechanisms.
- Demonstrated experience in conducting business impact analyses, mapping dependencies and critical functions, and drafting comprehensive Business Continuity Plans.
- Practical operational experience in managing fleet systems, developing maintenance schedules, setting up booking processes, and providing operational support for staff and regional stakeholders.
- Strong end-to-end project management skills to plan, execute, and monitor establishment and organizational projects from concept through to implementation.
- Advanced policy research and analytical skills to assess organizational needs, identify operational risks, and synthesize complex data into actionable recommendations.
- High-level communication and relationship-building skills to partner effectively across diverse internal teams, regional branches, and operational units.
