You will lead the testing team to ensure every software or hardware update is rock-solid before it goes live. You’ll act as the bridge between developers, business teams, and external partners to make sure systems are secure, functional, and compliant.
What You’ll Do
... - Lead the Strategy: Create test plans, scripts, and procedures. You aren't just clicking buttons; you’re designing the roadmap for how we test.
- Expert Testing: Oversee ATM hardware (card readers, dispensers) and financial messaging (ISO8583). You’ll make sure transactions flow perfectly and securely.
- Quality Police: Find bugs, report them, and ensure they are fixed. You’ll also warn management if documentation is weak, schedules are too rushed, or security is lacking.
- Collaboration: Coordinate testing with external financial institutions and merchants.
- Improvement: Mentor the team and find ways to make the company’s QA process faster and better.
Technical Skills Needed
- Financial Tech: Strong knowledge of ISO8583 messaging and ATM hardware.
- Systems: Familiarity with AS400, data encryption, and network communication.
- QA Mastery: Deep understanding of the full software testing lifecycle and various testing tools/techniques.
