Senior Software Engineer
We have an opportunity for a Senior Software Engineer to join our SaaS Next-Gen Platform team
in Bangalore, reporting to the director of Software Engineering. In this pivotal role, you will use
the latest technology to deliver the core foundation for all Infoblox applications. You will also
play a crucial role in designing and implementing cloud networking solutions and have the
opportunity to work with the best of the technical and thought leadership team at Infoblox.
Be a Contributor — What You’ll Do
• Implement new Infoblox product initiatives involving SD-WAN/SASE platforms
integration using IPsec and cloud VPN technologies
• Build and optimize cloud-native services in Golang, ensuring reliability, scalability, and
performance
• Drive design discussions and RFCs across Engineering, Product, and Security teams to
align on integration approaches
• Partner with Product management to translate requirements into technical designs and
deliverables
• Deliver high-quality code and guide engineers through code reviews and technical
discussions
• Stay up-to-date on key trends, especially in the area of cloud platforms and networking
solutions
• Own key back-end components of the platform
• Develop REST and gRPC APIs, as well as contribute to the overall API framework
Be Prepared — What You Bring• 8+ years of deep expertise in networking technologies, such as IPsec, cloud VPNs, SD-
WAN, and SASE integration• Solid programming background in Golang, with experience designing and building
distributed systems
• Hands-on experience deploying, scaling, and troubleshooting services on Kubernetes in
production environments
• Proven ability to design secure, resilient, and high-performance integrations between
network and application services
• Excellent technical leadership skills, including mentoring engineers, leading design
reviews, and driving cross-team collaboration
• Experience with system architecture and design patterns
• Knowledge of API design and development, including RESTful principles
• Understanding of concurrency patterns and experience with Goroutines and channels• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-
functional teams• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or electrical engineering
is required; master’s degree preferred
