Responsibilities
- Lead various workstreams by planning, organizing, and implementing testing efforts, including the development of comprehensive test strategies and plans.
- Perform functional and non-functional testing on core applications, extensions, and complex interface integrations.
- Produce complete documentation, including test cases, manual and automated scripts, results reports, and defect logs.
- Create and manage test data, analyze results, and perform retesting until expected outcomes are achieved and client acceptability levels are met.
- Work closely with architects, developers, and product owners to establish effective test plans based on technical documentation and business requirements.
- Execute security component testing (SAML/JWT), API testing (RESTful/JSON/XML), and Accessibility testing (WCAG 2.0) to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Test Business Intelligence solutions and predefined analytical reports to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and integrity.
- Actively participate in triage sessions and walkthroughs to resolve production issues and maintain system integrity.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience as a QA Lead or Specialist, with a focus on clinical, mission-critical, or high-volume transactional systems.
- 5+ years of experience within the public sector, adhering to standardized I&IT methodologies and gating processes.
- Expert knowledge of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC), object-oriented testing methods, and at least one programming language.
- Proven experience with Selenium framework, API testing tools, SQL queries, and defect management software (Jira/Confluence/TestRail).
- Strong understanding of security protocols (SAML/JWT) and Web Accessibility standards (WCAG 2.0).
- Exceptional ability to translate functional and business knowledge into technical documentation and actionable test cases.
- Strong interpersonal and consulting skills, with the ability to build relationships with cross-functional stakeholders and senior leadership.
