About the Role
The Senior Technology Project Manager delivers exceptional, customer-focused service and drives improved organizational performance through their technical expertise. This role provides leadership within the Technology Leadership chapter of the Technology Enterprise department's squad-based structure. The primary focus includes leading a squad with its associated customer portfolio, providing technology leadership, and ensuring quality for technology-related workstreams within projects. The Senior Technology Project Manager may also be part of the Technology Enterprise Senior Leadership Team (Tech SLT).
Responsibilities
- Solutions Analysis: Identify, evaluate, and implement complex technology solutions to meet business needs, including evaluating and monitoring quality, updating products and services, and sharing knowledge. Configure and modify vendor management systems (Beeline & Fieldglass). Research and implement new technologies. Create training content and serve as a trusted partner to the organization. Develop thought leadership within RSR. Direct external suppliers and assess their services.
- Leadership and Direction: Manage and guide squad members, align strategies with business goals, coach and mentor colleagues, establish performance metrics, and assess the quality of work delivered. Provide training and serve as a role model.
- Recommendations: Advise on designing new processes and systems, provide consultancy services, signal and advise leadership, handle complex technical questions, and participate in client-facing meetings and presentations.
- Needs Assessment: Identify emerging issues and customer needs and translate them into proposals for new products and services.
- Project Management: Manage and deliver outcomes for project portfolios, implement products and services, improve workforce processes, serve as a point of contact for technical expertise, deliver innovative solutions, and support Sales and Solution Design.
Required Qualifications
- University/Post Graduate degree or equivalent professional experience.
- 5 years of experience in an MSP or RPO business preffered.
- 3 years of experience with key technology providers.
- Technical skills in configuring and modifying vendor management systems must have - Beeline & SAP Fieldglass.
- Substantial general work experience and comprehensive job-related experience in a relevant area of expertise.
- Experience leading and supporting client meetings, delivering presentations and webinars, and managing end-to-end projects.
- Proficiency in Excel/Google sheets, Google
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong project and people management skills.
