The Opportunity
Join a disruptive leader in the Australian life insurance market that is setting a new standard for employee engagement and client satisfaction. This isn’t your typical call center role—this is a Service Consultant role within a high-performance division.
Their mission is to create a focused business where financial advisers are true partners, and their team is inspired to do great things and their culture prioritizes speed, simplicity, and treating every stakeholder as an individual.
Your Impact
As a Service Consultant, you are the face of their "common-sense" approach to insurance. You won't just answer phones; you will manage your own dedicated portfolio of financial advisers, ensuring their clients receive a seamless end-to-end experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Portfolio Ownership: Proactively manage a personal portfolio of financial advisers, building lasting relationships and providing personal service throughout the policy life cycle.
Application Excellence: Complete insurance applications on behalf of financial advisers and work seamlessly with the Underwriting team to ensure smooth processing.
Strategic Case Management: Proactively manage "suspense" and case completion to ensure efficiency and support for your advisers.
Stakeholder Advocacy: Deliver a customer-centric service that builds advocacy with every contact, ensuring you leave no stone unturned to find solutions.
Operational Efficiency: Process all new business and servicing accurately within service level standards while looking for ways to reduce end-to-end cycle times.
Why You’ll Love It There
They believe that the only sustainable advantage is the culture and the people who make up a business.
Work-Life Harmony: Enjoy one scheduled day off (RDO) every month with a Mon-Fri, 9am–5pm rotating roster.
Modern Flexibility: Once training is complete, benefit from a hybrid work-from-home and office model.
Culture of Excellence: Participate in a collaborative environment where we celebrate the "amazing" that occurs when passion and great minds combine.
Premium Perks: Weekly free staff lunches, an annual interstate team trip, and a stunning office location close to public transport and dining.
About You
They only recruit the best—those who pair exceptional technical skills with a collaborative, service-oriented attitude.
Essential Skills & Experience:
Industry Background: Minimum 1–2 years of experience working specifically within Life Insurance/Superannuation/Financial Services/Insurance.
Soft Skills: Strong negotiating and influencing skills combined with active listening and an exceptional telephone manner.
Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop credibility with both internal and external stakeholders.
Technical Rigor: High attention to detail and accuracy in processing administration, with proficiency in MS Excel and Word.
Drive: A high level of personal energy and the ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
