This is a critical back-office role designed for those who thrive in high volume environments. You will be part of a specialized team of 12, managing the complex lifecycle of corporate actions and ensuring the financial integrity of our US Custody books. You will be responsible for providing essential day-to-day operational support monitoring complex corporate action notifications, ensuring data integrity, and performing critical financial reconciliations.
This role requires a candidate who excels at working independently to meet tight deadlines while collaborating effectively.

• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm (No rotation/No OT).
Responsibilities
• Monitor daily notifications and circulars from primary vendors (DTC, CDS, TSE, Bloomberg). You will validate data and identify impacted share positions with precision.
• Analyze circulars to determine event eligibility, tax implications, and foreign currency exchange (FX) risks.
• Maintain the accuracy of US Custody books by performing daily income, dividend, and interest payment reconciliations.
• Interface with transfer agents and internal departments to confirm offering materials and finalize submission timelines.
• Manage corporate action files, coordinate mailings, and ensure translation requests for French-speaking holders are handled promptly.
Qualifications
• 5–7 years of experience in financial processing, accounting, or back-office banking operations.
• Advanced understanding of dividend systems, credit/debit processes, and financial reconciliation.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to condense complex tax treatments for internal escalation.
• High School Diploma required, University degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field is strongly preferred.
Assets:
• Canadian Securities Course (CSC) designation.
• Previous experience specifically within Corporate Actions or US Custody systems.
